About the Course...

This program will focus on common medical and surgical issues pertaining to rabbits. Lectures will discuss common rabbit diseases and emergency medicine. The participants will learn about fluid therapy, analgesia principles and treatment of gastric stasis. In the lab the participants will learn how to place an intravenous catheter, intraosseous catheter, nasogastric tube, blind endotracheal intubation, dental blocks, and placement of an epidural needle.
